I got declined for health insurance for undiagnosed condition?

nicky asked:

First of all I’m a 25 year old female physically fit no health conditions. I have never been to the doctor except for last August. For some reason I was feeling light headed which was I Believe due to stress. At the time I did not know what is was, so I got concerned and went to the doctor. That was a big mistake because now I have gotten declined twice for health insurance because of this. At the doctors they took blood samples which all came back negative, then is just went away so I never went for a follow up. Anyways, should I just not waste my time trying to look for another health insurance? I’m currently in college, so is it just better to wait till I get a job and get insurance with them? And cross my fingers that I don’t get really sick!

Health insurance going up every 3 months. Is this normal?

Scott R asked:

My health insurance is going up every 3 months and has raised $80 in the past year. I haven’t been to the doctor in 2 years and have never been to the hospital so it’s not that I’m using it a lot. I’m a 22 year old that doesn’t have a single health problem. Is there anyway I can stop by insurance from climbing up every month like this? I can’t afford to keep paying this if it’s going to be $80 more every year.

Also, my policy is covered for mammograms and pregnancy even though I’m male so I’m confused. Aren’t there supposed to be seperate insurances for males and females?

Does snyone know of any good health insurance plans in Michigan?

*Dee * asked:

Preferably a PPO where preexisting conditions is not an issue. No deductible, low copays, no limit on doctor visits because as I stated before there are preexisting conditions, out of net-work coverage, and prescription drug coverage. (Female, 25, no children). Thanks in advance.
Where can I get more information about Messa of BCBS? Do you have a link?
My preexisting condition is scoliosis, I have to see a nuerosurgeon, a cardiologist, and a pulmonary specialist.

Is it safe to go without health/dental/Rx insurance from now until early Oct? Or is it too much of a gamble?

Patti B asked:

I just graduated college and my insurance ran out. I am taking a job that starts in September and will give me full health coverage 1 month after I start. I am a young and fairly healthy female, although I do have IBS and some other problems, mostly relating to the digestive system, reproductive system, and my skin. I eat a balanced diet and try to exercise regularly. I have only needed to visit the emergency room 3 times in my entire life.

When responding, please give me an informed answer, not just yes or no. Please also explain your reasoning.

Also, other than Aetna or Cobra, is there any other short-term insurance I can purchase?

Doctor’s answers especially welcome.

Thank you!

I’m a 21 yr old female with various health problems, and am in desperate need of answers! HELP?

makahfili asked:

ok, so the beginning of March i went through a battle with pneumonia, and then all my health problems maximized! Here’s a list of symptoms that I have been experiencing.. weight/hair loss, anxiety, psychosis, chest pain, palpitations, lower/upper GI pain, constant heartburn and gnawing pain right above belly button (seems to be associated with my hiatal hernia, but pain has gotten unbearable at times), fatigue, waking in middle of night and not falling back to sleep (not normal, for I am a very hard sleeper), depression, panic attacks, and muscle/joint pain. It sounds like alot, cuz it is! I dont have any health insurance and am fighting that battle with our federal agency to get back on, but it’s been a journey! until I go in, I need some advice on what it may be so I can have tests done, and get my health back on track so I can enjoy life as a mommy. I am miserable and it feels as though my organs are takin on alot. Please Please help!!!!
By the way, i forgot to add that I was recently diagnosed with stage 0 cervical cancer in March as well. They did a blood test as well, and found that i had a low white blood cell count at that time. I haven’t been back to the doctor for anymore tests, because of my health insurance issues. I cannot go to the doc again for I have accumulated so many bills as it is… :(

Health insurance. need some?

Shelly P. Tofu, E.M.T. asked:

Hi. I’m a 27 year old white female who lives in Virginia. I need some kind of health insurance but I am VERY VERY Low income. I only get about 600$ a month total, but have no rent fees or utility bills except telephone. Does anyone know of any low cost or government health insurance I would qualify for? Like Medicaid? I am going to need some blood tests done soon, and I’m afraid medical bills are going to be beyond what I can pay.

BTW. I don’t have any pre-existing condition, like diabetes or anything.. I just need some tests done to measure hormone levels and thyroid, etc… and I’m just afraid that if that leads to something (say Cushings disease, which would require a surgery to correct, and i do have a few of the symptoms but no diagnosis) There is NO WAY I could pay for it!!
Any advice???

THanks so much

Will my health issues effect my life insurance acceptance?

slovesn asked:

I am a 27 year old female, scheduled to have a medical exam tomorrow for a $250k life insurance policy I applied for. I’m a little nervous about how my health issues may effect my insurability.

1) I have ADHD, for which I take 80mg Strattera, daily;
2) I have disc degeneration at three levels in my lower back, for which I occasionally (1 x a week or less) take Vicodin and/or Tizanidine to control the pain. I do not plan to have surgery for this issue, as it does not have a big impact on my life.

Will either or both of these issues effect my insurability? The ADHD is treated by my primary doctor, which I will certainly have to disclose. The Strattera will show up on my blood test anyway. However, is it necessary that I disclose that I am also seeing an orthopedic doctor a few times per year? Niether the Vicodin or Tizanidine will be detected in my blood or urine, as it has been over two weeks since I have taken either.

Serious answers only, please. Thank you
