Help need health insurance?
sunshine asked:
I am a 39 year old unemployed female. I am married and my husband is 40 years old. We are both in great health but we need to have health insurance. We plan on having a baby soon. I have done some research but the more I look into it the more I get confussed. Is there a plan where we would have a low deductuble, have at least 85% or more of coverage and a low co-payment. I would appreciate any info.

Try this one - - my family have their health insurance - it is affordable and has good coverage for dental issues.
My wife had no problem with her insurance coverage while being pregnant.
Most individual insurance policies don’t cover maternity, except by rider. If you do the math the rider isn’t worth it. However, most states mandate that complications of pregnancy be covered, and are usually defined by the state, not your doctor. See the link below for a list of complications.
A good idea is an HSA type of policy where you have a minimum family deductible of $2,200 per year, and everything except wellness benefits (vaccinations and routine physicals) are subject to the $2,200 (or larger) deductible. There are tax advantages as well.
For more info about HSA’s see second link below.
