Move to Thunder Bay, Ontario. Free doctors visits. Free hospital stays. Prescriptions, that’s another story.

Go to Blue Cross Blue Shield for your state and see what prices they have. They have really good health insurance. You can also find information on their website.

Private health insuance is avialable through many different carriers. Either do a google search for Minnesota health insruance or seek out a local health insurance broker. At 23 and single, your health insurance premium shouldn’t be very high. Another alternatives would be temporary health insurance if you will only need it for the next year. Time and Assurity are good companies for that. Check the web. It will be chocked full of sites that will assist you.

If you can’t afford the $200 or so a month for a private health insurance policy, and you make too much for Medicaid, your only other option is to get a different job.
