    Blue Cross or Blue Shield have competitive rates for someone your age.

    If you have access to Kaiser, I’ve found them to be pretty good (although you go to their facilities rather than choosing your own doctor).

    It is the best time to insure yourself. Since you are very much young ,healthy and unmarried you will not be charged much and easily can get long term coverage. Go for both health and medical polices.
